So I write a lot about David. I think thats because I am able to compare myself to him a lot! I get in these moments where I am high on God, all I can do is talk about singing his praises. (Psalms 33) In these moments nothing can seem to bring me down, I am walking on air. Then there are days that I depend deeply on God....and I need him to help me with every step I take. (Psalms 59) On these days I feel helpless but not alone. I just need the Father to hold me! There are days that I feel lost, and alone.....Today is one of those days! (Psalms 22) I know that God is always faithful, but in theses days I feel that he is so far away! I feel as if it has been an eternity since I have felt his embrace, and all of my efforts are in vain.
Oh God please Come to ME and to my Rescue make haste!
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
3Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
